Revolve Wins Major Grant

by info on February 15, 2012

Revolve is proud to announce it has reached a 2012 funding goal and received a grant to fund bicycle collections.

The largest contribution in 2012 comes from a grant from the MARC Solid Waste Management District and Missouri Department of Natural Resources. This grant funds a program administrator to coordinate twelve bike collections to be held in conjunction with municipal recycling events occurring across five counties served by the area’s Solid Waste Management District. The used bikes will be refurbished and made available to anyone participating in the organization’s Earn-a-Bike programs, while allowing for targeted outreach where low- and no-cost transportation is needed most, in the Green Impact Zone and Latino communities.
